Back Office:

The back office is the portion of a company made up of administration and support personnel who are not client-facing. Back Office Executives have support responsibilities and handle functions that help the front office work well. Main Back Office Executive Responsibilities are managing databases, Data mining, performing market research, analysing consumer trends, and handling accounting and finance tasks.

 

Managing Database: 

A database management system (DBMS) is a software package designed to define, manipulate, retrieve and manage data in a database. A DBMS generally manipulates the data itself, the data format, field names, record structure and file structure.

Here is a list of seven common database management systems:

  • Hierarchical databases.
  • Network databases.
  • Relational databases.
  • Object-oriented databases.
  • Graph databases.
  • ER model databases.
  • Document databases.

 

Data mining: 

Data mining is the process of finding anomalies, patterns and correlations within large data sets to predict outcomes. Using a broad range of techniques, you can use this information to increase revenues, cut costs, improve customer relationships, reduce risks and more.

 

Accounting:

 Introduction to Accounting Basics. Some of the basic accounting terms that you will learn include revenues, expenses, assets, liabilities, income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows. You will become familiar with accounting debits and credits as we show you how to record transactions.

 

Finance: 

managing assets, liabilities, revenues, and debts for a business. Personal finance defines all financial decisions and activities of an individual or household, including budgeting, insurance, mortgage planning, savings, and retirement planning.
